Meet Brett, who has recently joined the MTA as a Panel Beating Trainer, bringing over 20 years of experience and a dedicated approach to his craft. Brett is passionate about fixing cars and has a strong desire to share his knowledge with others.

"I've always loved the trade and the fulfillment you get from fixing cars. I constantly seek to excel in my work and aim for the highest standards. I've worked in a few shops, always trying to position myself into roles where you learn more and get more out of it."

"Through that, I've had some exciting opportunities. I had the privilege of working at Specific Prestige for a couple of years, where I got to experience traveling abroad and receiving training at Audi in Germany, which was an amazing experience. I had the chance to undergo training with Jaguar Land Rover in Sydney, which was fantastic. The training aspect of my work has resonated with me and probably helped steer me in this direction actually."

After dedicating two decades to the automotive trade, Brett is eager to pass on his expertise and contribute to the growth of others. The chance to positively impact the lives of aspiring panel beaters and witness their growth is what fuels Brett's dedication and enthusiasm in his training role. Within just a month of joining the team, Brett has already had the pleasure of seeing apprentices improve significantly under his guidance.

"Outside of work, I also love fitness and looking after myself because I’ve got two young kids! They keep me inspired to stay younger. I do some craft beer brewing at home so fully into the creativity of that as well."
